Douglas Ray Fegles, 45, of Sweet Home died Dec. 19, 2011.
He was born April 9, 1966 in Florence to Donn Jasper and Rosalee Rae (Swigert) Fegles.
Mr. Fegles resided in Sweet Home since 1996. He was a member of the Sweet Home Elks Lodge and the Sweet Home Veterans Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gunsmithing, motorcycles, trap shooting and helping others. He loved camping with his family at Long Creek.
Mr. Fegles is survived by his wife, Ronda Fegles; their dog, Ellie; father Donn Fegles and wife Sally of Chiloquin; mother Rosalee Cavitt of Florence; brothers Ernie Fegles of Reedsport and Bob Fegles of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Casey Fegles; and step-father, Warren Cavitt.
In Mr. Fegles’ memory, his family asks that we all practice “random acts of kindness” whenever possible.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Elks Lodge in Sweet Home.
