Two fliers sustained minor injuries when their powered parachute crashed while landing west of Crawfordsville early Saturday morning.
“I’m home and alive,” pilot Frank McCubbins, 77, of Sweet Home said Monday.
He was taken by REACH helicopter to Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. His passenger, Hayden Davis, 16, was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital where he was treated and released.
“He’s playing football today,” McCubbins said.
