Students at Sweet Home High School got a break from class for a few minutes Friday morning when a drier malfunctioned in the laundry room on the east end of the school and, according to Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District Battalion Chief Guy Smith, some towels caught fire. Firefighters responded at 9:17 a.m. with two engines and speedily put the blaze out.
