Earl Burton Tackett, 69, of Sweet Home died May 3, 2008.
He was born Sept. 12, 1938 in McKaskill, Ark., to Joe and Effie (Barber) Tackett. He lived in Portland, Glendale, Roseburg and Sutherlin before moving to Sweet Home in 1999. He loved being in Sweet Home and thought the area was beautiful.
Mr. Tackett loved cars, boating, fishing, camping and going to parks during the summer.
