Editor:
Mr. Gary Jarvis (Sept. 19) covered a great deal of subjects regarding the editorials in The New Era, which he has freedom to do as a citizen commenting on editorials. I question why he feels so strongly that the editor does not also have that same freedom?
I have no personal opinion of Sen. Jeff Merkley’s personal commitment to our forestry plans or changes in the handling of the forest in Linn County. Perhaps…
