Elizabeth “Betty” Seibert, 94, of Sweet Home, passed away Sunday. She was born March 24, 1911 in Imperial, Neb.
She moved from Texas to Scotts Mills in 1942. She came to Sweet Home in 1946. She has made this her home ever since. She enjoyed traveling around the state.
She is survived by children, Thelma Paddock of Sweet Home, Bill Seibert of Sweet Home, Doug Seibert of Sweet Home, Doris Garron of Sweet Home, Jim Seibert of Christmas Valley, and Linda Blankenship of Sweet Home, and 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kelton Seibert, her sons, John Melton Seibert and Edward Kelton Seibert, and four sisters.
Viewing is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Miller’s Cemetery in Silverton. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
