The Elks Hee Hee Haw Haw show Saturday nigh, September 20, was well attended by Sweet Home residents. “It was like standing room only,” said organizer and director Shirley Austin. “We ran out of dinner tickets, so we sold a few show tickets.” The Elks served about 200 dinners, and based on early estimates, the event raised a couple of thousand dollars to help replace a curtain divider at the lodge.
