These golfers had “perfect” weather June for the Sweet Home Elks Howard Drago Memorial Golf Tournament June 17 at Pineway Golf Course. The field included the Loree family, members of which have participated for over 37 years, who placed third this year. Last year’s winner, team captain Dave Trask, passed on a plaque sponsored by the Drago family to this year’s winning team of Randy Claasen, Jason Burnett, Donnie Schwindt and Mike Carey. Second-place winners were the Rassmusen/Barringer team. Scores were unavailable. Burke Logging provided custom golf ball; every golfer got to take home a sleeve. The family of Walt Mulholland family handed out cigars in his memory. Beverages were provided by G&H Logging.
