Elvia Emily Edith Meyer, 76, of Sweet Home died June 18, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. She was born Feb. 26, 1931 in Idaho to Clithrow and Viola (Beattie) VanDuyn and Viola Beattie. She married Dennis Meyer on Sept. 4, 1948 in Albany and they have made their home in Sweet Home for the past 56 years.
