The Sweet Home High School Equestrian team is looking for new members.
High school students who enjoy riding horses, or who enjoy game or riding equitation and showmanship, are encouraged to apply, Coach Billie Bjornsen said.
A new coaching staff this year includes Bjornsen, assistant coach Toni Peterson, drill coach Terri Rush and gaming coach Liz Fitzsimons.
The team plans to ride in town this year, Bjornsen said, so it will not cost so much for fuel.
Practices are 2 to 5 p.m. on Sundays beginning after Dec. 1.
The fee for the team is $160 with other costs totaling about $400.
“We are planning many fund-raisers to help with the cost,” Bjornsen said. “Our deadline is Dec. 15, so don’t wait any longer. Please call.”
Bjornsen may be reached at 367-5512.
