Erma Lee “Jackie” Folsom, 67, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from cancer, surrounded by her family at her home in Nikiski, Alaska.
Private family services will be held.
She was born Sept. 20, 1938 to Ervin Jackson and Billie Earnestine Lynn in Wright City, Okla. and graduated in 1957 from Sweet Home High School. She moved to Nikiski in 1991 to be closer to her family. She enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening.
Mrs. Folsom is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lesa and Randy Jeffreys of Nikiski; daughter, Darla Williams of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Sharon Cook of Lebanon; daughter and son-in-law, Danee and Jerry Moore of Nikiski; son, Joshua Cook of Nikiski; brothers, Jerry Lynn of St. Helens, Billie Lynn of Sweet Home, and Gene Lynn of Dallas; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Folsom was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin & Earnestine Lynn; grandmother, Pearl Gaskey; and grandfather, Lawrence Gaskey.
Arrangements were by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
