Esther K. Capper, 76, of Sweet Home, died Oct. 20, 2022.
She was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Whittier, Calif., to Paul Revere and Dora Margaret (Jennings) Capper.
She lived in Sweet Home for over 40 years and was a Christian. She loved her dogs and animals.
Mrs. Capper is survived by her son, Jeremy Heathington of Sweet Home; one grandson of Lebanon; sister Ruth McKendree; nieces and nephews Richard (Jeanice) Lippert, Marcella (Wendell) Durbin, Sonya McKendree, Amanda Teoli, Ryan (Dustin) Groat, and Jason (Natasha) McKendree Jr., all of Sweet Home, Christy (Don) Benton of California, and Michael (Adriana) Ronga of Arizona; and many more family and friends that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dora Capper; sister and brother-in-law Darline and Richard Lippert; nieces DeAnna Ronga and Donna McKendree; and her spouse, Vern Simpson.
