Eugene Gregory

Eugene Reynolds Gregory, 85, of Sweet Home, passed away May 22, 2025.
He was born November 26, 1939 in Klamath Falls to Jack and Della (Simmons) Gregory.
Eugene and his family moved to West Virginia when he was a child. They returned to Oregon and settled in Sweet Home in the 1950s. He worked as a logger for several years, then at Willamette Industries Sweet Home Plywood until his retirement in 1994. Eugene was a member of the Elks Lodge since 1963.
Hunting, fishing and taking drives in the woods were things Eugene loved to do. He loved Jeeps and owned many over the years. He was well known for his old orange Jeep.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Gail Gregory of Sweet Home; children Leigh Gregory of White Salmon, Wash., and Wade Gregory ( Michelle) of Sweet Home; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Della Gregory; and brothers Gerald and Kenny.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
