Evelyn M. Milburn, 103, of Sweet Home, died July 7, 2013.
She was born Feb. 11, 1910. She met William Milburn in Orange County, Calif., marrying and starting a family at a young age. Mr. Milburn died in 1960 and she continued to live in California before moving to Glendale, Ore., then finally settling in Sweet Home in 1977.
Mrs. Milburn was a member of the Holley Christian Church. She enjoyed quilting and needle work.
She is survived by her children, Oleta and son-in-law Larry Alford of Sweet Home, Opal and son-in-law Paul Dotson of Sweet Home, John and daughter-in-law Joy Milburn of Bullhead, Ariz., Joe and daughter-in-law Sue Milburn of Albany, Ky., Roy Milburn of Glendale, Della and son-in-law Marv Davis of Roswell, N.M., and Ron and daughter-in-law Becky Milburn of Harrison, Ark.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Milburn was preceded in death by her daughters, Vineta Willie and Shirley Cloud.
A funeral is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, with final burial at Gilliland Cemetery.
