After School Movies
The Sweet Home Public Library will be hosting movie nights this month at 3 p.m. on Wednesdays. The dates for the events follow with the movie; March 20 Peter Pan and Wendy, March 27 Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.
Saint Patrick’s Day Party
The Dam Bar will be hosting a Saint Patrick’s Day Party with a live band on Saturday, March 16 at 3 p.m. Other events include DJ Drunken- Punkn March 23 at 7 p.m. and April 6 at 6 p.m Open Mic Night hosted by The Dam Karaoke Girls.

and Fair Expo
The Northwest Horse Fair & Expo will be held at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center March 22-25. The Northwest Horse Fair & Expo combines to the highest degree, first rate education, entertainment and shopping. There is truly something for everyone. Three days of fun the entire family can enjoy.
Annual Sweet Home Rock and Mineral Show
The 74th Annual Sweet Home Rock and Mineral Show will be held 10 a.m to 5 p.m March 30th and 31st located at the Sweet Home High School Activity Gym. Admission $1 kids 12 and under FREE when accompanied by an adult; Theme: “A Pirate’s treasure chest.’ rough rock, display specimens, minerals, fossils, demonstrations, door prizes. The event will include displays, demonstrations, vendors, raffles and food available for purchase.
