Faye Jones, 76, of Sweet Home died May 17, 2014.
She was born March 18, 1938 in Seattle, Wash. to Issac and Lillian (Carlson) Provo.
She grew up in Seattle. She married James “Art” Jones on Dec. 29, 1956 in Woodinville, Wash.
The Joneses came to Sweet Home in 1957 following a job at a mill for Mr. Jones. Mrs. Jones worked at Hawthorne and Pleasant Valley schools as a custodian.
She enjoyed plants, visiting Goodwill and shopping for treasures.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, “Art” Jones of Sweet Home; daughter Diane and son-in-law Jon Smith of Mill City; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Candy Jones and Lori Robinson; eight brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
