Great article in the Albany Democrat-Herald Friday, Aug. 17, about the state Environmental Quality Commission, which declined to order an immediate ban on field burning sought by Lane County.
I’m not sure what Eugene is having complaints about as we in East Linn County get the smoke. This one farmer says people imagine getting sick from the smoke, but why do the doctors say shut if off as their patient loads go up?
