Neal and Sharon Smith, now of Sweet Home, were married on Jan. 26, 1964 and celebrated on that day this year with a trip to Spirit Mountain. Neal, from Tacoma, Wash., and Sharon, who was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Florida, met while he was in the service with her oldest brother. They moved to Sweet Home in 1968 after Neal got a job here. They have two children, Brenda, of Sweet Home, and David, of Lebanon.
