Fir Lawn Lutheran Church is making a difference in the lives of young people in Sweet Home, Oregon. Each year we hold an auction in cooperation with folks from all over our community to raise funds to send local kids to camp. Over the past two years, we have sent 36 community children to a week of summer camp at Camp Lutherwood, at an average cost of $350 per child.
The children are identified by leaders of the community because, they have need for a week of fun, adventure, love and respect.
We are asking you to partner with us by making a donation to our auction or to sponsor a camper. Together we can bring hope to the life of a child who might not otherwise have it.
Our auction will be held May 16 at our church. All proceeds will be directly used to provide full sponsorship for kids. We firmly believe that when you invest in the life of a child, that child and the community both benefit. Our goal? Always send one more than we did the year before.
