An early-morning fire destroyed a home at 2040 Ames Creek Road.
Firefighters responded shortly after 3 a.m. to find the structure heavily involved.
Fire Chief Nick Tyler said a second alarm was issued to get help from neighboring communities. The structure was a “complete loss,” he said, with estimates of damage to the building at $300,000 and contents at $100,000.
The resident of the home was Jessica Coleman.
The cause of the blaze was undetermined.
