A fire destroyed a triple-wide manufactured home Thursday, Feb. 9, on Butte Creek Road in Lebanon.
The blaze was reported shortly after 2 p.m.
According to the Lebanon Fire District, the caller reported smoke coming from the home’s vents. The homeowner attempted to fight the fire with an extinguisher, but was unsuccessful.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from beneath the structure. Multiple attempts were made to find its source, but the LFD said the volume of contents in the home made battling the blaze difficult. Consequently, personnel remained on scene for nearly eight hours, until the fire was fully extinguished.
The home’s occupants were transported with smoke inhalation to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Personnel from the Sweet Home Ambulance & Fire District and Albany and Brownsville fire departments assisted during the incident.
