Fire destroyed a single-wide mobile home west of the Narrows on Saturday.
Sweet Home firefighters responded to the fire, at 28228 Hwy. 20, at 6:47 p.m.
The found the home heavily involved, said Battalion Chief Ken Weld. The building was a total loss, with an estimated value of $50,000 for the structure and $10,000 for the contents.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries.
The apparent cause of the fire was a faulty clothes drier, Weld said. The last person out of the house apparently started the drier on the way out the door.
The home was owned by Charles Pettner and occupied Jill Johnson and her daughter.
Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District received assistance from the Lebanon Fire District, with a total of 10 pieces of apparatus and 32 firefighters responding.
