The cause of a fire at 836 12th Ave. Sunday night is under investigation by Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District.
The fire caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to the home, the residence of Marjorie Pridemore.
Pridemore had been at a daughter’s home because she had no power, Battalion Chief Doug Emmert said. She returned to find her house full of smoke.
Firefighters located a fire in the living room and extinguished it.
