A firefighter moves toward a burning house at 45572 Hwy. 20 Saturday night. The fire destroyed an abandoned house. Firefighters responded to the call at 10:01 p.m. The house caught fire from a debris pile burning more than 15 feet away, becoming fully involved in minutes and almost on the ground by the time firefighters could put water on the fire. The property is owned by Brad Newport.
