As of noon on Monday the annual burn ban, along with regulated use, was lifted in east Linn County, marking an early end to fire season.
On news of extended rain in the forecast, with increased humidity for many areas of western Oregon, the Oregon Department of Forestry started lifting public use restrictions in several areas of the Cascade Range from Gresham south to Springfield.
