Six fires were set along Highway 20 east of Sweet Home Monday night, July 20, according to local fire agencies that responded to them.
Chad Calderwood, Oregon Department of Forestry wildland fire supervisor at the Sweet Home Unit, said the fires were spaced along about six miles of the highway between Mileposts 34 and 40. The first was reported near High Deck Road just after 9:30 p.m.
