The Sweet Home Police Department received eight complaints about fireworks on July 4.
There were no calls after midnight, said Sgt. Jeff Lynn. The calls came from all over town.
The department received numerous additional calls over the next couple of nights.
The police issued no citations for fireworks violations, Lynn said.
“You could see them. You could hear them,” he said.
Officers would respond to the general area, but they were unable to locate the source of the calls, typically, Lynn said.
