First-graders in the Sweet Home School District (home-schooled students included) are encouraged to apply to become a junior princess or escort for the 2023 Sportsman’s Holiday, which runs July 6-9.
The names of one boy and one girl will be randomly drawn for the distinction, and recipients will be notified by the end of May.
Selected students would need to be available for events, Chips N Splinters practices and a photo shoot. Additional activities may be added, and a schedule will be provided.
The cost to participate is $65, which provides each child with a sash, outfit and shoes.
Interested parents whose children can attend all functions are encouraged to complete a form with their signatures and return it to the child’s teacher by Tuesday, May 2, scan and email the completed form to Karla Burcham at [email protected] or take a photo of the form and send it to Karla at (541) 401-3339.
