Sweet Home girls soccer earned its first win of the season on Thursday, Sept. 21, beating divisional rival Stayton 3-1 at Husky Field. The win put Sweet Home at 1-4 on the season, while Stayton moved to 1-5.
Sweet Home scored its first goal in the 13th minute when junior forward Kirsten Sautel found the back of the net off of a corner kick from junior midfielder Peyton Markell.
