Florence Robinett

Jan. 29, 1923 – May 8, 2007

Florence “Helen” Robinett, 84, of Lebanon died May 8, 2007. She was born to Milton and Vivian (Robinett) Farley in Corvallis.

Through her life she lived in Nevada, Alaska, California, Oregon and numerous places throughout the Northwest. Mrs. Robinett was one of the first women in Oregon with a chauffeur’s license, driving transport for the Morgan Trucking Co. She also worked with her husband in construction and hauled dynamite.

She enjoyed caring for her animals and mining.

Mrs. Robinett is survived by six siblings; longtime friend, Fred Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy; husband, “Big Jim” and four siblings.
