Flu shots offered at county locations

The flu is expected to be more prevalent this year compared to last year, when school closures and other COVID-19 precautions helped minimize the virus’ spread.

Samaritan Health recommends that local residents protect themselves, their families and community by getting vaccinated.

If you have had any visit with a Samaritan health care provider – whether in a clinic, hospital, laboratory or imaging test – and have a Samaritan Health Services medical record, you are eligible for your flu vaccine at one of Samaritan’s drive-up vaccination events.

Drive-up flu vaccinations will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, and Nov. 6 on a first-come, first-served basis  at the following locations:

Lebanon: 35 N Mullins Drive, located next to Samaritan Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic.

Albany: 1040 Seventh Ave. SW, located in the medical clinic lot across the street from Samaritan Albany General Hospital.

Corvallis: 2555 NE Belvue St., located in the warehouse parking lot across from Republic Services recycling center.

Samaritan is also offering the flu vaccine at its Samaritan Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic, SamCare Express and Samaritan Pharmacy locations (search for one in your area at https://bit.ly/3ipIcNE). Only drive-up events require that patrons already be a Samaritan patient.
