Sweet Home High School’s Forestry Club placed fourth at the state high school forestry competition held last weekend at Oregon State University’s Arboretum.
Philomath was the champion of the six teams that competed.
“I thought we did really well,” said Club Advisor Dustin Nichol. “The kids PR’d (established personal records) in almost all their events.”
He said the first four placewinners were evenly distributed by about 20 points each.
