Forestry winners

Sweet Home Forestry Club members won their first competition of the spring season on Saturday, March 3, at Knappa. In addition to the team’s win, Callie Baker won Overall Jill and Zech Brown won Overall Jack. Not pictured are Alexis Hanna, Nakeetah Wilson. This wasn’t the Huskies’ first competition of the school year. In October they won the Scio competition, with Baker winning Overall Jill and Shiffert Overall Jack. In November they competed at Tillamook, winning that competition as well, with Baker once again taking the girls’ championship and Brown the boys. Sweet Home will host its annual competition at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 10, between the baseball field and the tennis courts on 18th Avenue. The public is welcome.
