Four people were arrested on various drug-related chargest during an early-morning search warrant served on 27th Avenue in Sweet Home Thursday, Feb. 11, Police Chief Jeff Lynn said.
At approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, Sweet Home Police, with assistance from the Linn County Regional SWAT team, Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police Department and the Albany Police Department ,served a narcotics related search warrant at 927 27th Ave.
Law enforcement officers encountered four adults on the property, Lynn said.
Ashley Kay Miles, 22, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance -methamphetamine, frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold, parole violation warrant and a Linn County justice warrant for first-degree failure to appear. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.
George Josef Drexler, 41, was taken into custody for a Lebanon Municipal Court Warrant for contempt of court and parole violation as well as charged with PCS-methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.
Heather Marie Richner, 35, was taken into custody for PCS-methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.
Stephanie Lynn Arnold, 42, was taken into custody for PCS-methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold. She was lodged at Linn County Jail.
The homeowner, Paul Kalina, 40, is a suspect listed in this case and currently has pending charges of PCS-methamphetamine and frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold, Lynn said.
He said that during the investigation, detectives seized evidence related to methamphetamine use and sales.
A narcotics investigation was opened by the Sweet Home Police Department due to ongoing frequent short stay traffic and suspicious activity related to the occupants at the residence, he said.
