Sweet Home Police Department arrested four people in connection with a search warrant served at 1840 Grape St. on Friday, July 10.
Arrested were Laveva Lynn Tackett, 32, for possession of meth, distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold; William Joseph Tackett, 52, for possession of meth and frequenting a place where drugs are sold; David Joseph Tackett, 22, for four counts of felon in possession of a firearm, manufacturing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold; and Tina Jo Winkler, 40, for possession of meth, distribution of meth within 1,000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
Winkler also was charged on two outstanding warrants for distribution of meth, Multnomah County, and possession of meth, Linn County.
Police served the search warrant at approximately 7 a.m. SHPD was assisted by officers from Albany Police Department and Linn County Sheriff’s Office and the K-9 team from the U.S. Forest Service.
Police seized methampheta-mines; marijuana, including 30 growing plants; scales; packaging materials; cash; drug records; and six firearms.
