Francis “Sonny” Ray Snyder, Sr., 68, of Sweet Home, and formerly of Klamath Falls, died Aug. 12, 2006 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
He was born Jan. 2, 1938 in Klamath Falls, the son of Frank and Sarah (Nott) Snyder. He resided between Klamath Falls and Sweet Home all his life.
Mr. Snyder was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and had served as a volunteer firefighter in the Klamath Falls area for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Irma; children, Larry Snyder and his wife Diane, Molly Howe and her husband Bill, Francis Snyder, Jr., Debra Cook, Teresa Kessler, Dee Dee Reyes, Makayla and Trinity Snyder; two sisters, Sarah and Susie Burt; 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Nadelia Snyder, in 1985 and his sister, Wilma Jo Snyder.
