Franklin Leon Kurtz, 53, of Sweet Home died Oct. 8, 2013.
He was born Jan. 11, 1960 in Stayton to Floyd and Margie (Leach) Kurtz.
He moved to Sweet Home with his family from Jefferson in 1976. Mr. Kurtz worked in lumber mills until he broke his back and became disabled.
He enjoyed building things and being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping.
