Frederick F. Linderman Sr.

Nov. 22, 1934 – Dec. 2, 2006

Frederick Franklin Linderman Sr., 72, of Sweet Home, died Dec. 2, 2006 at his home. He was born Nov. 22, 1934 in New Kensington, Pa. to James D. and Margaret J. (Clark) Linderman.

Mr. Linderman served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1958. He has lived in Sweet Home for the past 25 years and was a member of the local VFW. He was a stock car race driver at Willamette Speedway and Redwood Acres and also a mechanic. He enjoyed carving vintage airplanes, watching John Wayne movies, hunting, fishing and visiting with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Linderman of Sweet Home; sons, Donald of Yreka, Calif., Carl of Medford, Edward of Yreka, Alan, Lawrence both of Medford, Frederick Jr. of Yreka, Charles of Durant, Okla., Eddie and wife Maria of DeQueen, Ark., and Billy “Turk” of Sweet Home; sisters, Mary Miller of Sweet Home and Eileen LaPanne of Zephyrhi, Fla.; mother-in-law, Corky Reynolds; sister-in-law, Teri Jefferson; numerous nieces and nephews; 24 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, and eight cats.

He was preceded in death by brothers, James and Paul Linderman.

Viewing will be 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
