A crowd attending the annual Frontier Days festivities got their first glimpse of the new community pool in use when swimmers entertained with choreographed performances and an exhibition of various feats possible in a canoe. Opening of the pool was unofficial – workers merely agreed to fill the pool for the event, then emptied it when the performances were done.
