Josh Moore cleans around a display at Santiam Feed and Garden, located at the intersection of Long and 13th streets. He is the third client of Sunshine Industries to be placed in a job outside of the organization. He is performing general work around the shop cleaning and helping maintain and water the nursery. The program is part of Sunshine’s effort to meet the requirements of Oregon’s Employment First Initiative to place developmentally disabled clients at mainstream jobs in their community.
