Genevieve Mary Carlin, 95, of Sweet Home passed away Monday. She was born in Manly, Iowa to Laurence and Anna Pauline (Cholick) Popp.
She was raised in Minnesota and moved to Newport at age 22. She worked at Mo’s Restaurant and the Bumble Bee Cannery.
Genevieve moved to Oregon in about 1947; married Benjamin Carlin and became a housewife and mother of many. After Ben’s passing she went…
