George Delwyn Cooper, 84, of Sweet Home, died Jan. 13, 2023.
He was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Goldendale, Wash., to Ora Allen and Helen Alvira (Cox) Cooper.
After graduating high school in Lyle, Wash., he served in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Cooper married the love of his life Susan Baumgartner, in 1966.
They had two daughters. He worked for and retired from Washington State Department of Transportation.
