Stayton 54, Sweet Home 46
The Sweet Home High School girls basketball team opened the season with a tight game against Stayton, losing 54-46 on the road Dec. 4.
The Huskies were within three at the end of the game, but their efforts to stop the clock and get the ball put Stayton on the foul line enough to spread the final margin.
