Sweet Home’s varsity girls basketball team lost three games during a tournament held Wednesday through Friday at Stayton High School.
They opened with a 74-28 loss against Tillamook. Thursday, they lost 54-21 to Scio, and Friday, they lost 36-31 to Woodburn.
Against Tillamook, “the girls didn’t come ready to play,” said Coach Dave McNeil.
The next day, they were ready to play, McNeil said. They played more solidly and had fun, but they still struggled.
