The Huskies lost 6-0 to the speedy fifth-ranked Stayton girls soccer team at home Sept. 11.
“They caught us by surprise right away,” said Coach Ramiro Santana. “We came out a little on the lazy side. Within the first two minutes, they scored the first goal.”
Stayton had the advantage in speed and dribbling, Santana said. Stayton scored again two minutes, four minutes and eight minutes later.
