She was born March 29, 1942 in Salem to Julius Lee and Gertrude Iris (Logsdon) Harold.
She lived in Oregon most of her life.
Mrs. Ames is survived by a daughter, Debby Banta; sons Terry Ames and Tim Ames; sisters Judy Marr, Sue Blogdett, Chris Ramsey and Randi Dodge; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
