Gloria Marie (Christensen) Ogletree, 77, died Dec. 6, 2011 in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born April 25, 1934 in Whitefish, Mont. to Axel and Lydia (Bengtson) Christensen. She moved with her family to Sweet Home in 1945 and then to Bend in 1951, where she graduated from Bend High School in 1952.
She was married to James Ogletree on Oct. 2, 1954 in Bend, and moved to Albany. The Ogletrees moved to Portland in 1955, where she worked as an accounting supervisor for Montgomery Ward until the arrival of their daughter, Carminda Rose, in 1969.
Mrs. Ogletree moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in 2009 and enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Mindy and son-in-law Tracy of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; sister Carla Healy of Sweet Home; brother Charles and his wife Gail Christensen of Loving, Texas; and brother Fred Christensen of Salem.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim.
A memorial service will be held in Portland later this month.
