Caleb Goins of Scio won the Sportsman’s Holiday Mile for the second year in a row Saturday, leaving the field behind to finish in 4:52.0.
Ryan Lawyer of Albany slipped past Sweet Home’s Byron Sanders n the final 100 meters to take second in 5:42.4. Sanders ran 5:45.3.
Hannah Whitehead of Lebanon was the first female, finishing 10th overall in 6:16.1. Olivia Johnson of Sweet Home was second in 6:42.2. The first pre-teen finisher was David Johnson, 12, in 6:52.2.
