Grants available for local non-profits

The Sweet Home Community Foundation is offering funding for several projects that will improve the quality of life in Sweet Home, would have broad support and will have a lasting beneficial effect to the community.

Grants are available up to $2,500 each. The proposed grant recipient must be a 501(c) 3 or other qualified tax-exempt organization, or the charitable or educational project must be implemented in affiliation with such an organization.

Grant recipients will be announced on March 30, at the Sweet Home Breakfast Club meeting.

Completed applications must be returned to the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce by 5 p.m. on Jan. 13.

Applications are available at the Chamber of Commerce, 1575 Main St., Sweet Home, and are posted on the Web site www. under “Sweet Home Community Foundation.”
