Gregory Hyman Smith, 57, of Sweet Home died July 19, 2009 at his home.
He was born Dec. 31, 1951 in Lebanon, the son of Hyman and Bula Carmalee (Halbrook) Smith.
Mr. Smith attended school in Sweet Home and graduated from Sweet Home Union High School.
He worked for the Target Distribution Center in Albany. He enjoyed the outdoors as a youth. He was also interested in classic cars.
Mr. Smith is survived by his mother, Carmalee Smith; son Chad Smith; sister Dawn McCoy. He was preceded in death by his father, Hyman Smith.
Viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, at Liberty Cemetery.
